The Second Annual Conference will be held m Ohristchurch on April 19th and 20 th. The Bishop of Ohristchurch will preside. The basis of representation will be the same as last year, viz. : — Two members from each Branch. All C.E.M.S. will be welcomed, but only the Delegates have the right to speak. The subjects proposed for consideration are : — Provincial Federation, Provincial Rules ; Dominion Executive and Finance ; Dominion Supply of Literature and Badges ; Australasian Men's Magazine and Dominion Supplement ; General Travelling Secretary ; Probation of Branches and Members ; R« gistration and Commendation of Members and Associates ; Organised Work and Prayer; United Action on Moral and (Social Questions,
At the meeting of our Diocesan Council to be held on February 27th, the General Secretary's circular will be read and discussed, but there is very little time before the Conference meets, and it would be wise for each Branch to see what : can be done to onsure this Diocese being adequately represented; The General Secretary asks for the prayers of members for God's blessing on the Conference, and also for restored health to our brother, Rev. H. S. Woollcombe, who wd are very sorry to hear has broken down m the midst of his work for our Society m India. From the list of Branches sent us by the General Secretary we find that there are m the — Members Branches, and Associates.
