Interression.

"Prayer and Thanksgiving are the two wings of the soul by which it rises upward to God." Prayers Suggested for use m Private or Family Prayer. We pray for the Holy Catholic Church of Christ, that Thou wouldest pour upon it, 0 Lord, all the gifts of Thy Holy Spirit. Amen. For the Bishops, and all the Clergy who minister m it [especially for him who ministers m this Parish], that they may rightly handle the Word of Truth. Amen. For all who aid m the ministering work of Thy Church, and those who, at Thy call, devote themselves to Thy service m works of piety and charity. Amen. For the poor and needy, sick and afflicted, widows and orphans ; for those especially who ask our prayers, and for those who have none to pray for them. Amen. For all whom Thou hast given to be near and dear to us [those who are absent from our household, with] all who love us, and who are specially loved by us. Give tiiem Thy blessing, 0 Lord, for the sake of Him Who hath taught us to love one another, even as He hath loved us, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Gracious Father, we humbly beseech Thee for Thy Holy Catholic Church. Fill it with all truth, and m all truth with all peace : where it is corrupt, purge it ; where it is m error, direct it; where it is superstitious, rectify it; where anything is amiss, reform it ; where it is right, strengthen and confirm it; where it is m want, furnish it ; where it is divided and rent asunder, heal the breaches thereof, 0 Thou Holy One of Israel, for the sake of Jesus Christ, Tliy Son, our Redeemer and our Lord.
