It was no part of Inspiration to supply information which lies outside the sphere of religious truth, i.'c, scientific and historical information as to the creation of the world and the origin of man upon it. Inspiration, as I take it, consists m God's putting into men's hearts thoughts and ideas as to the relationship of God to man, and the purpose which God has m view m placing man m the world and directing his actions.— Mev.
