. The monthly service at Blackburn was held m the Ruahiue Schoolroom on Sunday, September 11th, at 11 a.m. The service was of special interest because the thirteen candidates lately confirmed made their first communion. All were present, and com-
municated, except one who could not attend. There were twenty communicants m all, and a large congregation as well ; the beautiful day made it possible for people to come from far. The Rev. T. A. Meyer was celebrant.
