Professor J. Mainwaring Brown then delivered an address on “The Economic Position of New Zealand.” After numerous questions had been asked by members and replied to by Professor Brown, it was resolved to adjourn further discussion to a special meeting to be held on the following Tuesday. On the motion of Dr. Hocken, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Professor Brown for his address.
