Abstract of Annual Report. During the past winter session six ordinary meetings were held, at which ten papers prepared by members were read. The present number of members is 108, being an increase of 1 on the previous year; but, during the year, some had died and others resigned, and 11 new members have been elected. Throughout the year several zoological, botanical, palæontological, and geological specimens were collected by a few of the members of the Institute for the Museum. Upwards of 70 volumes of valuable scientific works, obtained from England, America, and Australia have been added to the Library. The audited statement of accounts shows a balance of £215 to the credit of the Society.
