Member of Parliament for Western Maori, Mr Koro Wetere, introduces President Nyrere to some of the local men outside Kimiora after the President had been shown round various buildings on the marae. As he spoke from the porch of Mahinarangi. President Nyrere mentioned similarities he had observed in Maori and Tanzanian cultures. The President greets members of the young cultural group who provided entertainment for his party.
