(Deconstruction) More niceness from Deconstruction, this is one hell of a monster party compilation. I caught Mikey from Squid sneaking around trying to track down a copy weeks ago, and after a quick squiz at the track listing, you can see why. Lionrock, Sam Sever, Depth Charge, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Josh Wink, Renegade Soundwave, etc., and it’s all wicked. Big phat fuck-off break beats, dirty acid riffs, distorted vocals and, well, the ideal soundtrack to a drunken fumble through the messy 3AM crowd at Squid really. What a relief to see a full on party compilation as opposed to another (stop yawning, ya bloody stoners!) trip-hop compilation. Totally mental and cool as fuck. Oi! Pass the amyl, will ya?
