STRATFORD. Mr. A. D. Blick, architect, reports that the new Cooperative Dairy Factory building at Ngaire is approaching completion, and will be out of the builders’ hands this month. Ferro-concrete portions lined with tiles, 6ft. concrete floor. Contract, £5000; contractors, Boon Bros. Tenders called for motor-garage, Bridge Street, Eltham, in reinforced concrete. Joll of two storeys, 8 rooms, etc. Reinforced concrete (rough cast), roof Marseilles tiles, two reception rooms, 18ft. by 10ft. and 16ft. by 14ft. ; provided with McCabe’s parlour door hangers, improvement on folding doors for throwing two rooms into one, with ingle-nook. West and Son, architects, have in hand the new Nurses’ Home, hospital site, on a terrace overlooking the city. Perrin Bros, and Needham. FEILDING Mr. A. J. James, architect, has completed new grand stand for Feilding Jockey Club, to accommodate 700 persons ; with suitable rooms and bar, etc. Poilite roof, exterior walls of sheeting, panelled. The feature of the new stand is that it is completed covered in front from weather, etc. when not required. It is operated by a system of winch pulleys, the operation of covering up taking only ten minutes. —Cost, £1100; contractor, Mr. W. Wilkinson. The outside building contains cloak rooms and conveniences, sanitary arrangements most complete, septic tank; ferro-concrete, Poilite roof. Cost, £600; contractor, Mr. W. Wilkinson. .The stable building for E. Short, Esq., at Puraringi, is in brick, and consists of stalls and loose boxes, with recent improvements, perfected drainage and ventilation, and loft over head. Designed by Mr. C. L. Daniel, architect. Cost, £2400; contractor, Mr. Wm. Wilkinson, who has also completed the following : —A cottage at Onepui for Mr. Cockburn ; a dwelling of six rooms, etc., for Mr. W.
