The Russell Motor Car.

This car, of which we give an illustration on page 162, shows the advance made by the Dominion of Canada in the automobile industry. It reminds one of the Canada Cycle and Motor factory at Toronto Junction, Canada, with its floor space of over 5J acres, where this car first saw the light. The car is the culmination of years of experience in manufacturing. The original design of this class was projected on lines believed to be permanent, and the lapse of time has proved the correctness of the anticipation ; for, after the fullest attention to all the types of the last ten years so fertile in novelties, the designers have made but few alterations, and the public has rained round them without calling for change of radical character. The materials are always selected with an eye to strength and safety ; elegance is not forgotten ; comfort Is secured without doubt. On the whole the Russell car is a grand addition, in its latest form, to the working company of cars, the number of which in this Dominion is so rapidly increasing.
