New Colonial Industry.
A new industry which promises to benefit the island greatly, has just been started in Barbadoes. A syndicate has been formed to make paper of the megass — sugar cane from which the juice has been pressed — which has hitherto been used as fuel. The syndicate is ottering planters £i per ton for the megass.
