Information is requested respecting William Milne, who in 1857 was sentenced to two years imprisonment in Pentridge Stockade, Victoria, and was again in 1860 sentenced to 18 months or two years’ imprisonment for stealing gold in Victoria. He is a North of Ireland man about 48 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, very dark complexion, dark wavy hair, pockmarked, speaks with a slight lisp. He was in this Province about 12 years ago, when he was summoned by his wife for assault and has not since been heard of.
