Information is requested respecting William Morgan Harries, who arrived at Nelson in 1851, where he married, and his wife had two sons; but shortly after the birth of the second child she died, lie subsequently went to Taranaki, where he again married and deserted his wife about eight or twelve years ago and went to Australia. His last letter to his friends in England was dated, Nelson, the third of February, 1860.

Information is requested respecting Richard Hatton, a native of Berkshire, England, 38 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches high, black hair, full whiskers, fresh complexion, one of upper front teeth wanting. He left Sandridge, Victoria, on the 7th of April last, under engagement to come to Dunedin, or Port Chalmers to be employed plate laying on railway lines and was heard of from Port Chalmers on the 18th of July last.

Information is requested respecting Duncan Mclntyre, a Scotchman, a miner, about 46 years of age, (looks older) 5 feet 9 inches high, grey hair, pale complexion, medium build, supposed to bo mining at the Thames or Hokitika.

Information is requested respecting Daniel German a bricklayer, about 5 feet 8 inches high, dark complexion, inclined to be stout, bushy whiskers almost grey, first finger of right hand points out. He left Lawrence early in August last to seek employment on railway lines.

He was last, heard of by his friends in England about six years ago when he was at New Plymouth, Taranaki, lie is supposed to have been in Wanganui about three months ago, but is not residing there at present. Any person who may be able to give information respecting the above named person either as to his death or present place of abode is requested to communicate with this office where a letter is lying for him.
