"Whereas during the night of the 28th instant, or early on the morning of the 29th, an entrance was effected into the General Post Office at Adelaide, and an iron safe in the office was opened, supposed with the safe key or a duplicate key, and twenty-five registered letters, containing bank notes to the amount of one thousand two hundred pounds (£1200), and cheques to a large amount stolen. The following are the numbers of some of the notes posted in the registered letters stolen : Bank of South Australia Notes to Moonta, Posted 28th April.
