MISSING FRIENDS.
Inquiry is made by the Inspector-General of Police, Sydney, on behalf of the friends of Michael Kelly, who left Sydney in October 1862, for the Otago Gold Fields, and has not since been heard of. He is 21 years’ old, 6 feet high, medium build, fair complexion, dark hair nearly black, black whiskers and moustache.
Information is requested by the Superintendent of Police, Geelong, of the present whereabouts of Samuel Steven, who left Geelong some 2 years’ since, and was, until about 18 months’ since, employed at his trade as a compositor in the “ Daily Times ” office, Dunedin. He then left Dunedin, and is supposed now to be either in Auckland or Canterv ry l o a D nd ke ®P ln & a public house. He is about 38 years’ old, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high fair complexion, light brown hair, whiskers and moustache ; a native of the Isle of Wight.
