Information is requested by the friends of William Duncan, of his present address; he sailed from Glasgow for Dunedin m the ship Henrietta in 1860, and was last heard of by letter dated from the Waipon Goldfield, 10th March, 1862. The only additional particulars that can be given is that he is a gardener.

Enquiry is made by the friends of Matthew Macteer for his present address, supposed m Otago. He is 28 years old, 5 feet 6 inches high, slight build, dark complexion, curly black hair, no whiskers, wears brown goatee, a native of Newry, Ireland, but has resided in Liverpool from childhood; a jeweller by trade.
