Deserted from the detachment of 11. M.’s 57th regiment of foot at Wanganui on 24th January, 1863, 16, Private John Kelly, aged 21 years 4 months, height sft. 6in., fresh complexion, light brown hair, brown eyes, native of Cork, wore coarse grey tweed coat, grey tweed vest and trousers of darker colour than coat, an officer’s servant.
