DESERTERS FROM H. M. SERVICE.

Report of Deserters from her Majesty’s Forces serving in New Zealand :

Deserted from the detachment of 11. M.’s 57th regiment of foot at Wanganui on 24th January, 1863, 16, Private John Kelly, aged 21 years 4 months, height sft. 6in., fresh complexion, light brown hair, brown eyes, native of Cork, wore coarse grey tweed coat, grey tweed vest and trousers of darker colour than coat, an officer’s servant.

Deserted from the detachment. of H M.’s 70th regiment stationed at Dunedin on 14th February, 1863, 753, Private George Oram, sft. Ilf in. high, age 20 years, fair complexion, light grey eyes, brown hair, no beard ,or moustache, stout build, full faced with thick lips, trade labourer, native of Plumpton, Sussex.

M.'s /Oth regiment stationed at Dunedin on 30th January, 1863, 605, Private Andrew Walsh, sft. 9 jin. high, age 26 years, fresh complexion, eyes hazel and sunken, dark brown hair, round shouldered, black beard and moustache not very thick, native of Duragh, Queen’s County.
