WEDDING BELLS
HARRINGTON—COSGROVE. At tho Catholic church/ Waikiwi, on 7 August 3, the wedding was solemnised by Very# Rev. Father O’Neill, of Frederick, son of Mr. and Mrs. 'Harrington, Otautau, 7 and : May, youngest daughter of Mr. arid V Mrs. T. Cosgrove, Winton. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, was neatly attired in a frock of iAny georgette, relieved on the hips with' posies of the same material. She also wore a very becomin ghat of georgette' and gold tissue relieved with delicate flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss M. Small (cousin of : the bride), wore tunic coat frock arid a close-fitting model hat. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. T. Cosgrove as best man. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a gold wristlet watch, and to the bridesmaid a hand-painted- bowl. The,bride’s gift to the bridegroom was a shaving- outfit. After the ceremony a reception was held at “Foilderig . House,” Collingwood, when the usual toasts were honored.'r The newly-wed# ded - couple left by {•' the ; afternoon, express for Christchurch, en route to • Greymbuth,’' ” their future home; the bride travelling in a neat petunia costume with a chic spring hat o to match.
