MR. JOHN KENNEDY, GEEYMOUTH. With great regret the death is recorded of Mr. John Kennedy, of Grey mouth, who passed away on the 3rd ult., as the result of an accident at the Liverpool State mine, where ho had been employed for a number of years. The deceased was a native of Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, and had resided on the Coast for over 50 years, a great part of that period being spent-at Charleston and 13 runner ton. 1 he : deceased, who was highly-esteemed for his blameless life and- uprightness .of character, leaves, a widow,, .one' son, and tnree daughters to mourn the loss of a model husband and father. . The son (Mr. John Kennedy),-who is married, is an employee at the Greymouth Gasworks. The daughters are Mrs. Packer (Greyhiouth), Mrs. Devoy (Hastings), and Miss, Josephine Kennedy (Greymouth).
