(From our own correspondent.) .TJl® annual Communion and breakfast with the Manst Brothers’ Old Boys’ Association, will take place on June 25. Members of the Hibernian Society entertained the Druids on Tuesday evening, in the Hibernian Hall. The hrst part of the programme was,a euchre match, which the visitors won by 37 games to 25. The company then turned to a. social evening, and Bro. H. Upjohn, of the Hibernian Society, extended a cordial welcome to the ■JJruids, Bros. Parker and Burgess, replying on their behalf. Several toasts were honored, and entertaining items were contributed by Messrs. Burgess, Eldridge. McGuire, Bryan, Higgins, Turner, and the Doherty brothers. The annual meeting of the Cathedral Sodality ,of Children of Mary, was held on last Sunday afternoon. Rev. Father Gallagher (spiritual director) presided over a large attendance. The annual report read by the secretary (Miss Ray Brown) showed the past year to have been, a busy and successful one. Miss M. McAloon was re-elected president; Miss K. Kiely, vice-president; and Miss Ray Brown, secretary and treasurer. It is the intention of members to combine with the Convent boarders for a Retreat, to be conducted by a Redemptorist Father, beginning about June 23.

Rev. Fathers -Hurley, Barra, and O’Ferrall were present during the evening. Progressive euchre was indulged in f . or an hou , r or ?o, the prices being won by Misses McAuliffe and Codings, and Messrs. N. O’Donoghue and Seaman. An enjoyable social followed and excellent homemade refreshments were dispensed. The object of the social was to augment the Hospital Sick Visitor?’ Fund, and a goodly sum was realised. The ladies’ social committee are Jo be congratulated on their successful efforts. The annual meeting of the Children of Mary was held on a recent Sunday, when the election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—President, Miss K Collins; vice-president, Miss M. O’Sullivan; secretary, Miss A McAteer; treasurer, Miss Knight; counsellors, Misses Venning, ,B Cosgrove, and A. O’Connell. A number of members voluntered their services as sick-visitors to the hospital for the next twelve months, viz.—Misses A. Cronin, H. Sullivan M Sullivan, A. O’Connell, N. O’Connell, M. ScuHy, M.
