The following' pupils from the Petone Convent gained certificates for proficiency at" the recent examination "under Mr. Charters, Government inspector for the Wellington district: —lvy Cameron, Mollie Keating, Edna Learmonth, Eileen Powell, Carmen Purcell, Mary Ryder, Athol Hart, Kevin McCarthy, Cornelius Ryan, Frank Sullivan, and Frank Whitley.
