The English Government is fully aware of the fact, and hence the military and police are encouraged to wreck homes, shoot v down men, women and children, set creameries and factories ablaze and give the piled up harvests to the flames. The Government of England seems determined that if Ireland must be abandoned” it will be a depopulated and ruined Irelanda shortsighted and blundering policy.
