WEDDING BELLS

MULLIGAN. A quiet wedding was solemnised at St. Joseph's Church, Hawera, on August 11, the contracting parties being Robert Hercus Davis, third son" of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Davis, of Dunedin, and Anne Frances Mulligan, third daughter of Mrs. Mulligan, of Rathbeggan, Co. Meath, Ireland. The Very Rev. Dean Power officiated. The bride, who was given away by her brother (Mr. T. A. Mulligan, 'of Opunake), was attired in a creme tailored costume and grey hat. She was attended by Miss O'Brien, of Opunake, who wore a dainty frock of creme charmeuse and ninon, and a.' blue hat. Mr. B. O'Brien was best man. The wedding breakfast was held at the Islington Rooms. The bride's travelling dress was a, green tailored costume, and hat to match. The honeymoon was spent in the South Island. v
