The Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1919. INCOME-TAX PAYABLE Laud and Income Tax Office, Wellington. 22nd January, 1920. T)Y Order in Council, made and issued by his Excel.U lency the Governor-General in Council on the 6th day •of October, 1919, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the respective duties by way of Income Tax and Special War Tax, leviable under sections ■3 and 4 respectively of the said Act, should be paid in one sum on Thursday, the sth day of February, 1920, at the •office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, T hereby give notice that the said duties will be payable • accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or before 26th February, 1920. The liability to •pay is not suspended by any objection. The tax should be paid on or before the prescribed date, otherwise the additional percentage accrues; any overpayment will bo adjusted by refund. The demands will be posted from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes on or about the 29th January, 1920. Note.— IMBORIAN I. A delay of some days will take -place in the issue of the demands for tho following: . Individuals whose surnames commence with the letters C, D, H, I, J, K, Me, N, 0, I’, T, W. In these cases a new due dateviz., 20th February, 1920 —will be fixed as provided by section 127 of the Land and Income Tax Act, 1916. Additional tax will accrue twenty-one days thereafter. I). G.
