At the. "breaking up" of the local Technical School prior to the recent vacation, a very interesting -feature; of the afternoon's performance, which marked the close cf the second term's work, was a game of basket ball, in which the Convent School A team, defeated the Technical A team by 7 points. .'- In the Teachers' Diploma examination held.in the Borough School last April in connection with Trinity College, London, the three candidates presented by the Sisters of Notre Dame des Missions were successful in the Art of Teaching 1 and Rudiments, thus qualifying one pupil for Licentiate and one for Associate.
