A pupil of the New Plymouth Convent, Miss Ruby Smith, who was a candidate for the intermediate pianoforte examination, Trinity College, London, held last September, has been successful in staining the exhibition prize awarded by the college for the highest marks secured in that grade throughout the Dominion.
