On Sunday last his Lordship the Bishop celebrated the 7.30 a.m. Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral, when the members of the 11.A.C.8 Society and the Confraternity of the Holy Family assembled in order to make their annual Communion. ' The Bishop addressed the men on the subject of their respective organisations, and the benefits accruing from banding themselves together in the various societies. The spiritual directorship of the women's branch of the Holy Family Confraternity at St. Patrick's Cathedral has been taken over by the Rev. Father Brennan, the Rev. Father O'Malley being appointed spiritual director of the men's branch. His Lordship the Bishop visited the parish of St. John, ParnelL. on Sunday evening last, and preached a panegyric of St. Patrick, Apostle of Ireland.
