Messrs. Stronach, Morris, and Co., Ltd., report for week ended Tuesday, October 9, 1917, as follows: Rabbitskins. We held a sale yesterday, when we submitted another large catalogue to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was very keen and a good sale resulted, prices showing an advance on late values. Prime winter does, to 55fd; prime winter bucks, to 40d ; incoming, to 39|d; autumns, to 35|d ; light racks, to 18Jd; racks, to 21d; prime winter bucks and does, to 38|-d; second winter black, to 55id ; fawns, to 33d; horsehair, to 16d per lb. Catskins to 4d. Ferret skins, to 2s each. Sheepskins. The Government will hold a valuation next week. Oats. There has been some inquiry for prime Gartons this last week but anyone holding stocks are not inclined to sell at the prices. , Quotations: Prime milling, 4s Id to 4s 2d; good to best feed, 3s lOd to 4s per bushel (sacks extra). ' : . . . . Potatoes.—The demand is . confined to freshlypicked lots, but late prices are hardly maintained. Seed lines are in over supply and are very hard to sell. Best tables, £4 to £4 ss; medium to good, £3 A Os,, to £3 15s; others, £1 10s up (sacks included). .
