The aim of the College is to give Catholic boys of the Dominion a sound Catholic training, together with ail the advantages of higher secular education. Students are prepared for N.Z. University Junior Scholarship, Matriculation, Medical and Engineering Preliminary, Solicitors’ General Knowledge, Senior and Junior Civil Service Examinations. Students not preparing for the learned profession* have the advantage of a Special COMMERCIAL COURSE, comprising Shorthand, Typewriting, and Bookkeeping j and those who intend to take up Farming Pursuits may follow a Special Course of AGRICULTURAL and DAIRY SCIENCE. _ The College has two large Laboratories well equipped with Scientific Apparatus for Experimental SF7ork by the Students in Physics and Chemistry. •t.
