Stronach, Morris, and Co., Ltd., report lor week ended Tuesday, March 27, 1917, as follows: Rabbitskins.•- We held our usual fortnightly sale on Monday, the 26th inst., when we submitted a small catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was keen and good prices resulted. We give below a few of our prices obtained : Winter does, to 52d : winter bucks, to 45d : winter blacks, to 50d ; outgoing does, to 40d ; racks, to 18d : light racks, to 17id; spring bucks, Isd to 17d: spring does, to 15d ; small, to Kill ; horsehair, to IGkl per lb. Oats.—-There is a keen demand for all bright heavy lines of Gartons and Sparrowbills suitable for milling and seed requirements and any lines coming to hand meet with a ready sale. Quotations: Prime milling, ,3s 9d to 3s lOd ; good to best feed. 3s 7d to 3s 9d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat. -Millers are ready purchasers of prime lines at the Government prices. Fowl wheat is in short supply and is readily sold at from 5s 6d to 5s 8d per bushel for best quality (sacks extra). Potatoes.—Consignments are coming to hand freely, but while the quality is satisfactory the demand is not very good. Quotations: Best tables, £5 5s to £5 10s; medium, £5 to £5 5s per ton (sacks in). Chaff.—There is a keen demand for any prime chaff coming to hand which can be readily sold at. quotations. Quotations: Prime oaten sheaf, .£5 5s to £5 10s; medium to good, £5 to £5 5s per ton (sacks extra).
