Lord Halifax has been offering a suggestion on the Irish Question. He writes in the Times: ' Appoint a commission of five persons under the presidency of the Duke of Connaught for the government of Ireland. The commission to be composed of Mr. John Redmond, Lord Dunraven, Lord Fitzgerald, and Mr. T. Healy, and appoint Mr. Shane Leslie as secretary.
