Following the example set by the McKillop family, who some time ago had a beautiful stained-glass window erected in (he chapel attached to St. Bride’s Convent to the memory of their parents, six stained-glass windows have been recently erected by the following donors:—The Percy family, in memory of their father ; Mrs. O’Neill, in memory of her husband : the brothers and sisters Bourke, in memory of their brother; Mr. Cotter, N.S. Wales, whose daughter is a member of the community : Right Rev. Mgr. McKenna and the members of the community, in memory of the late Sister Mary Peter : Mr. J. Savage, in memory of his mother. Two more windows have been promised, and when these are in their places it will require only two windows to complete the number required. The members of the community desire to express their sincere thanks to the kind friends who have enabled them to beautify the chapel to such an extent. The windows have been executed by John Hardman and Co., Birmingham. The'workmanship of this firm is acknowledged to be the most solid and artistic that can be produced.
