Stronach, Morris, and Co., Ltd., report for week ended Tuesday, June 6, 1916, as follows: Rabbitskins.—We held our usual fortnightly sale on Monday, the sth inst., when we submitted a small catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was keen and prices showed an advance on late rates. Quotations: Small, to 7^d ; light racks, to Hid; racks,to 12£d; summers, to -11 |d ; early autumns, to 16cl; early winters, to 20id ; autumn and incoming, to 19£d ; autumn black, to 38|d; winter bucks and does, to 23d; winter black, to 56d; hareskins, to lOd; horsehair, to 18jd per lb. Catalans, 2d to 12), each. Sheepskins.— Our next sale will be held on Tuesday, 13th inst. Hides.— Our next sale will be held on Thursday, Bth inst. Oats. —There is a good inquiry for all lines of good and bright heavy oats suitable for seed or feed requirements, and for these late rates are maintained Prime milling, 2s 4d to 2s sd; good to best feed, - >s 2d to 2s 3d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat. —Millers are not buying freely, and are very particular as to quality. Choice lines sell readily, tut doubtful or medium lines are out of demand except for fowl wheat. Prime milling velvet, 5s to ss;2d ; Tuscan, 4s 3d to 4s 4d; medium, 4s to 4s 2d; best whole fowl wheat, 3s 9d to 3s lid per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes. —Consignments are not coming in so freely of late. There is a keen demand for lines of choice quality, and sales have been effected at an advance on late, rates. Best table potatoes, £6 to £6 10s; medium, £5 5s to £5 15s per ton (sacks in). Chaff. During the pa*r we^k the market has been poorly supplied, with.the result that values show a firmer tendency. There is still very little inquiry for light and medium quality, lest oaten sheaf, £3 15s to £4 ; medium to good, £3 5s to £3 10s; light and discolored, £2 15s to £3 per lon (sacks extra).
