One way in which the war has affected agricultural shows is that there is a difficulty in maintaining the number of entries of stock (says the Dominion). The reason is that there are not now the number of men there formerly were to prepare the stock for shows and tend them on the grounds. The fact was mentioned by Mr. Massey at the Levin Show on Wednesday. •. 'We all know,' he said, ' that all the shows in the Dominion have suffered through so many v men going to the war, and Levin has experienced this along with other portions of the country.'
