Messrs. Stronach, Morris, and Co., Ltd., report for week ended Tuesday, October 19, 1915, as follows: Rabbitskins.—Our next sale will be he'ld on Monday, 25th inst. Sheepskins.—We held our fortnightly, sale to-day, when we offered a full catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. There was good competition and prices showed an advance on last week's rates. Quotations : Best halfbred, to l.Ud : medium, to ll|d ; best fine crossbred, to 11-J-d; medium, to lid: best merino; to 9£d; medium, 7§d to 8-£-d : best hoggets, to lOfd ; medium, 9d to 9£d per lb. Hides.Our' next sale will be held on Thursday, 21st inst. Oats.—There is little change in this market. The demand is not quite so keen and values, if anything, are a shade easier. Quotations: Prime ■ milling, 3s Id to 'is 2d; good to best feed, 3s to 3s Id; medium to good, 2s 9d to 2s lid per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat. market is still very quiet and any little business that is passing is being done with fowl wheat. Prices, however, show no inc-ease. Chaff.—Consignments have been coming to hand more freely and values, which, were on the advance, have steadied. . Medium and inferior lines are in plentiful supply, ■ but only prime quality meets with ready sale. Quotations: Best Oaten sheaf, £6 5s to .£6 10s; medium to good, £5 10s to £6: light and discolored, £4 to £5; straw chaff, .£2 to £3 per ton (sacks extra). Potatoes.— Very few consignments are coming to hand, and as the season is getting late there is ■ keen demand • for good quality. Quotations: Choice freshly-picked -lotsj. £8 to £8 10s; others, £7 to £7 10s per ton (sacks in).
