ROLL OF HONOR
TROOPER HENRY BERNARD JOYCE, TARANAKI. ' Trooper H. B. Joyce, who died of wounds at the Dardanelles, was a son of Mrs. Johanna Joyce, of
Otakcho, Taranaki. Trooper Joyce was farming in the Ashburton district, and when war broke out joined the Canterbury Mounted Rifles and left with t"he Main Body. He was twenty-five years of age.
-TROOPER 'WALTER N. G. LEACH, HERIOT. Trooper Walter ; Norman Gaynor ; Leach, ; who>.was wounded on August^ 8 at the -Dardanelles, was born in Cork, Ireland. ;■: He was the eldest son; Henry
Leach, of Hove, Brighton, England, and was a resident of Heriot for six years. He left with the Main Expeditionary Force, being a member of the 12th Otago Mounted Regiment.
