WEDDING BELLS

McKAY—McGRATH. ' f A very pretty wedding, of wide interest to a large circle took place recently at St. Patrick's Church,? Napier, when Miss Kathleen McGrath, daughter of Inspector and Mrs. J. A. McGrath, of Napier, was married to Mr. Neville J. McKay, of Waipawa, eldest^ son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. McKay, of Wellington. The bride wore a beautiful dress of white charmeuse, with a veil worked and presented to her by the Sisters of the Good .Shepherd, Christchurch. She was at-J tended by her sister (Miss Geraldine McGrath), who wore a pretty pink crepe-de-chine frock, trimmed withfloral ninon. The two little sisters of the bride (Misses/ Madeline and Rosaleen McGrath), who wore pretr , cream silk frocks with blue sashes, and hats to match, also attended the bride as flower girls. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father O'Sullivan, S.M., assisted by the Rev. K. J. McGrath, S.M., of Greenmeadows (brother of the bride). The bride was given away by her father, and the duties of best man devolved upon Mr. R. L. Macalister, of Wellington. After the ceremony a reception was held at the resit dence of the bride's parents, Colenso Hill, when the usual toasts were honored and the happy pair suitably farewelled. The bridesmaid's present to . the bridegroom was a gold wristlet watch, and the bride's 1 present from the bridegroom was a pearl and diamond ring. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a solid leather suit-case. The newly wedded couple left by motor car for the south, where the honeymoon is being spent.
