St. Anne’s Catholic Club, Newtown (writes a Weir lington correspondent) has this year placed both senior and; junior cricket teams in the outside Association, and the first cup matches took place on Saturday last, with the following results:—-St; Anne’s senior versus Kilbirne—St. Anne’s made 115 (Flanagan, 26, O. Foote 23, E. Galvin 20, Watson 16) ; Kilbirnie; replied with 87. The junior team did even • better, scoring 203 in their first innings againstbD.T.G., who'scored .72 for nine wickets. For St. Anne’s., C. Rouse (74), Hoare (34), Waller (30), Wareham (20 not out), Hayden (14), Cummings (13), and Schraeder (11), made double figures. W.
