WEDDING BELLS
HOLLAND—GIBBONS.
A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated in St. Patrick s Basilica, South Dunedin, on Easter Monday, the contracting parties being Mr. Thos. J. Holland, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Holland, Jaoobstown, Gore, and Miss Mary E. (May) Gibbons’ younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jaa. Gibbons, of Dunedin. Rev. Father J. P. Delany officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by Miss K. Cosgrove, of Christchurch, and Mr. J. T. Holland was best man. After the ceremony the wedding breakfast, at which. Rev. Father Delany presided, was partaken of, and the customary toasts honored. The presents, which were both costly and numerous, included a number of substantial cheques. The happy couple left for Auckland, where the honeymoon was to be spent.
