The annual prize distribution took place on December 16. The Rev. Father Tymons, who presented the prizes, congratulated the pupils on the result of the year’s work, and encouraged: those who were not among the prize-winners. In conclusion; he gave some good, practical advice, especially •to those who were about to leave school, and wished one and all the compliments of the season and pleasant, useful holidays. The following is the award list: Special prizes .—One of the Kennedy Scholarships, of the annual value of £2O, and tenable for four years at St. Patrick College, was won by Vincent McGlone.
