The Canterbury Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has taken possession of its new premises in Christchurch, which are to be devoted to the purposes of an animal’s hospital. It is intended to have the hospital in full operation as soon as possible, and stables and stalls are to be erected almost immediately.
