(From our own correspondent.) November 20. The annual entertainment in connection with St. Bride’s Convent will be held in the Masterton Town Hall on Wednesday, December 13. At a meeting of the Wairarapa United Societies it‘was decided to hold the annual picnic at Pigeon Bush on Boxing Day. Mr. S. O’Regan, of the Hibernian Society, was appointed secretary. Murray on Thursday and Friday last. They approached the Holy Table in a body on Sunday morning. The devotion of the Forty Hours’ Adoration was commenced on Sunday morning by a procession of the Blessed Sacrament round the church, in which the whole of -the congregation took part. < The Very Rev. Father Murray preached eloquent sermons at the 10.30 Mass and also at the devotions in the evening. The Adoration was continued on Monday, and brought to a close on Tuesday morning.
