The aim of the College is to give Catholic boys of the Dominion a sound Catholic training together with all the advantages of higher secular education. The teaching staff is composed of specially-trained professors, equipped with all the advantages of a University course in Arts and Science. Students are _ prepared for N.Z. University . Junior Scholarship, Matriculation, Medical and Engineering Preliminary, Solicitors’ General Knowledge, Senior and Junior Civil Service Examinations. . Students not preparing for the learned professions have the advantage of a Special COMMERCIAL COURSE, comprising Shorthand, Typewriting, and Book-keeping; and those who intend to take up Farming Pursuits may follow a Special Course of AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE.
