(From an occasional correspondent.) The Rev. Father Johnston leaves Waipawa early in June for Kaikoura. The Rev. Father Cahill has returned to . Bannevirke and his parishioners are pleased to know that he is feeling much better after his short sojourn in Rotorua. Much comment was made in reference to the splendid tone of the Catholic church bell which was tolled in connection with the funeral of our late beloved King Edward VII. Its magnificent peal added due solemnity to the occasion. Mr. St. Lawrence Toner, of Napier, presided at the organ, and played the Bead March from ‘Saul.’
