The Rev. Dr. Rentoul, speaking at the .annual meeting of the local branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society in the Brighton Town Hall, Victoria, is reported to have said: — £ He heard all about him to-day empty talk about Protestantism that was in danger from some political influences.
