(From our own correspondent.) The prize distribution at the boys' school was presided over by Rev. Father Tubman, Rev. Fathers O'Connell and Kimbell being also present. Mention was made of the great success that had attended the school during the year both in studies and sport. The Education Board inspector had stated that the school was well taught,' and in the domain of sport they had held the cricket championship of South Canterbury for five years in succession, and had during the past year also held the swimming shield and football banner. It may be mentioned that two of the boys had attained good positions in the bursaries examination for the Sacred Heart College, Auckland.-Hearty cheers for the Rev.
