Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report as follows: —
Oats. — There is very little business passing in oats. Offerings are not large, but are enough to satisfy the buyers that are in the market. Prime milling Gartons;' Is 7-id to Is 8d; Sparrowbills, Is 7d to Is 7£d; good to best feed, Is 5d to Is 7d; inferior to medium, Is 2d to Is 4d per bushel (sacks extra).
Wheat. — The market is quiet, and very little business is passing. We qtioto: Prime milling, 4s 4d to 4s sd; medium to good, 4s to 4s 2d; best whole fowl wheat, 3s 9d to 3s lid ; inferior .and smutted, 2s 6d to 3s 4d.
Potatoes. — Lines suitable for shipment have met with fair inquiry during this last week at quotations. Outside of' this the local demand is not very strong. We quote: Prime freshly-picked, £2 10s to £2 15s; extra choice, to £2 17s 6d; medium to good, £2 to £2 5s per ton (sacks in).
