(From our own correspondent.) July 3. The half-yearly meeting of the Catholic Young Men's Club was held on Friday evening, Rev. Father Quinn presiding. Nominations were received for the various positions on the executive committee for the ensuing half-year, and it was decided to hold the election on Friday, July 9. Twelve new members were elected. A motion to delete the word ' young ' from the name of the club, and that the club be open to all Catholic men from the age of sixteen upwards, was carried by a largo majority. At the conclusion of the business of the meeting, Very Rev. Dean Regnault delivered an address to members on the necessity of belonging to a Catholic club and the advantages to be derived therefrom. He also dwelt on the necessity of Catholic yoirag men being well instructed in the doctrines and teachings of the Catholic faith, and, at the conclusion of a very eloquent address a hearty vote of thanks was passed to him by acclamation.
