Father Hunt deskes-to thank all the contributors, the Bishop, priests, and laity, for their splendid generosity. All the benefactors will be ever remembered -in the Masses and prayers that will be offered up in the Church of the Irish Martyrs. He asks relations to notify him of the death of any contributor so that Requiem Masses may be offered up for the rep<sse of their souls. The names of the contributors will be placed in a special place in the church so that all may see them and be reminded to pray for the benefactors as long as the church shall last. All Irish men and women who have not already done so are are earnestly requested to add their names to the list as soon as possible, that they may share in the merit of so glorious a work, and obtain the benefit of the perpetual Masses arid prayers that will be offered up in the new church. A separate list will be kept of the dead benefactors. The total cost of the church as it now stands is about £2400, of which sum £1836 has been received in contributions, leaving a debt of between £500 and £600 to be still provided for.
