Cattle. — 215 head forward; a big yarding, consisting mostly of "prime to good quality. The demand was poor, and prices were lower by from 10s to 2l)s per head than those ruling lust week. Best bullocks, £9 to £10; extra, .up to £12; medium, £7 to £8 10s; inferior, £5 5s to £6 12s 6d; "best heifers, ivp to £8 ss. * Sheep. — A full yarding of. 2630, consisting of a large proportion of ewes with a few pens of prime Avethers. The sale opened weakly, and there 'was a decline of aboiit 2s per head, on last , week's rates. 'Best wethers, 18s 6d to 20s; extra, 21s 6d; medium, 16s to 17s 9d; inferior, loa 6d; best ewes, 16s to 18s l 33; extra, 19s 3d; medium, 13s to 15s; inferior, 12s 6d. Lambs. — 617 penned. Prime lambs sold well, but others met with a poor demand. • Test lambs, los 6d to 17s 9d; medium, 12s to L4s 6d ; inferior, 11s 6d.
